Jean-Claude Van Damme’s French “What’s Your Game” commercial, promised a few days ago, has gone live, and I rather like it. He is, apparently, a troll mage; he’s put his physical combat days behind him. My French is a bit rusty, but I can catch most of it, and for the rest, Blizzard has kindly provided an English translation:

“My name is Jean-Claude Van Damme… and I am a mage.”
“Hand-to-hand combat for me: it’s by!”
“Now I can cast effective spells!”
“Just try messing with me… I’ll turn you into a sheep.”
“A sheep!”
“…considering we all are a bit like sheep, you know…”
“I am Jean-Claude Van Damme, I am a mage.
“And you?”
“What’s your game?”

We are all a bit like sheep, come to think of it. What do you think of that latest installment in a lovely ad campaign? Previously: William Shatner and Mr T, Willy Toledo. Verne Troyer is still listed as “coming soon.”
